Home    5 Holiday Attractions Not To Miss This Year.

With each community dawning its own collection of twinkling light displays, endless opportunities to meet North Pole characters, and scenes of jingling sleighs, Raleighites know how to deck their halls. Here are just a few of the many holiday attractions in Raleigh you won’t want to miss!

1 –  72nd WRAL Raleigh Christmas Parade.

This year the WRAL Annual Christmas Parade is sponsored by Shop Local Raleigh and will feature tons of fun floats and your favorite Christmas characters, not to mention some surprises! This parade is ranked one of the largest parades on the East Coast so you will for sure want to be a part of  this great holiday tradition! Be sure to keep an eye out for the RE/MAX ADVANTAGE Float!

The Chinese festival, a celebration of good fortune, is normally celebrated on the 15th day of the first Chinese lunar month, usually in February or March. Although the Chinese Lantern Festival will visit Cary a little early this year, it will coincide with Thanksgiving, Christmas and The New Year! The spectacular display of LED lights will be sure to wow anyone!

4 – 45th Annual Historic Oakwood Candlelight Tour

One of my personal favorite things to do in Raleigh during the Holidays is to visit 100 year old Victorian homes decorated for the holidays in our very own Historic Oakwood. This weekend tour is nothing short of beautiful and full of historic richness.
